This piece was created as both a print and a card design. Worked on a sunshine yellow heavy canvas, the blue shading gives a lovely texture to the design.
Poppy's pieces evolve as she stitches, using her vintage Singer sewing machine to bring a sketch to life. The slightly unpredictable nature of drawing in stitch means that the lines have a naive quality to them.
